⁸ Koz was the father of Anub, Zobebah, and the clans of Aharhel, the son of Harum.

^9 [a]Jabez was the most honorable of his brothers. His mother named him Jabez because she said, “I bore him with pain.” ¹⁰ Jabez called upon the God of Israel saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my territory. May your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I might be free from grief.” God granted what he requested.
